Airport tours

While the Mitchell Gallery of Flight Museum does not provide formal tours, it is open during normal airport hours (when flights are scheduled). Tours of General Mitchell International Airport are available to groups by prior appointment and the museum can be included on that tour. For tour information and appointments, contact the Airport Administration office at 414-747-5300.

We are excited to announce our Summer 2026-member program will be a tour of the SkyWest Airlines maintenance hangar at MKE Airport.

Join us on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, for a unique behind-the-scenes evening .

This event is open to Mitchell Gallery members only. Each member may bring one guest (“plus one”).
